About MeBiography
It started when I was a glimpse in my mother and father's eyes. Actually I'll skip past this part. I went to St. John Fisher Elementary School as a child. Their idea of a music program was to sit infront of a projector and sing religious songs. So, my musical "skills" as it were, were basically self-developed. I made some friends along the way, most of whom I do not talk to anymore. Despite all that, I consider this time to be one of the highlights of my life. Highschool was a pretty lonesome time, so it's when I discovered the Internet. I downloaded software that allowed me to make music, called Scream Tracker. I was entranced. I had listened to music from Final Fantasy II (What's called IV now) and fell in love with it. Chills engulfed my body as I was drawn in to the final battle. That's when I knew I was very partial towards video game music in general. I downloaded some .MOD files that were created by someone with the alias "Alcan". I saught him out, and found an IRC chat channel named #Square. After a few pointers and playing with a MIDI to MOD converter, I finally had one of my first game music mod remakes. I was happy, it was blasting out of my PC Speaker and I was absolutely thrilled. Later I picked up an LPT converter to listen with an actual speaker! I couldn't get enough. When my father picked up our first Sound Blaster, I was ready to shine! After a few years of no job, no life, and a hundred remakes, I finally went into an emotional panic episode which cost me friendships, respect from other people, and gave my online one-time-friends-but-PMS-caused-them-to-be-enemies ample fuel to scorn me. Regardless, I needed this time to kick my butt in gear. Now I have a job, and sufficient motivation to move forward, than to live in the past. Hardware/Software Config
My hardware is pretty lacking in terms of musical acheivement. However for what I do possess, it's not bad for what I can do via software. · Intel Core 2 Duo PC 4300 @ 1.8 GHz, 1.8GHz with 1GB of RAM |
